One of the simplest ways to disseminate information is via filmmakers associations. Associations function on a number of different levels. They are not merely an information hub. They also allow you to deliver services and information to a broad range of stakeholders in a fair, transparent manner.
Once your filmmaker association is functioning and meeting regularly, you can begin to foster a community approach; peer-group assessments of scripts, productions-in-progress, and others make for a strong support network. In the long term, this can further develop into group marketing missions, and even co-branding, such as sharing trailers for other locally-made films.
