Film Liaison

As the film industry evolves, so does the role of a film commissioner. These days, film commissions work more closely than ever with the municipalities within their overall jurisdiction. When a movie or television show or commercial comes calling, those cities and towns, parishes or counties that have a designated, trained film liaison working in concert with their film commission, meet with a much higher level of success.

This course is intended to create context for film liaisons: those entities and individuals seeking an understanding of the basics of film production and the work of the film commissions with whom they work.
